Effective date: August 14, 2026
This policy applies to everyone who accesses Orion Nova. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service.
Prohibited conduct
You will not, and will not permit anyone else to:
Access and boundaries
- access the Service other than through the interfaces Orion provides;
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent any authentication, authorization, tenancy, scope, role, rate-limiting, or other access control;
- access or attempt to access data belonging to another organization, another client, or a project outside your assigned scope;
- share credentials, invitation links, or session tokens, or allow another person to use your account;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without Orion's prior written authorization.
Data handling
- scrape, harvest, bulk-download, or systematically extract data except through export features provided for your authorized use;
- copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, or disclose Service data outside your authorized business purpose;
- use owner, interested-party, or contact information obtained through the Service for marketing, solicitation, resale, list-building, or any purpose unrelated to the land project it belongs to;
- upload data your organization does not have the right to process, or data subject to restrictions it has not disclosed to Orion.
Integrity of the Service
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying structure of the Service, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
- upload or transmit malware, or interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation, security, or performance;
- use automated means to generate load, including looping or scripting AI-assisted features, in a manner that imposes unreasonable cost or degrades the Service for others;
- remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notice.
Legal
- use the Service to violate any law or regulation, or any third party's rights;
- use the Service in a manner that exceeds the access granted to your account.
Sensitive data
Nova is a business system. Do not enter payment card numbers, protected health information, or government identification numbers into free-text fields, notes, messages, or file uploads. Where the Service provides a dedicated field for a category of sensitive personnel information, use that field, which is access-controlled for the purpose.
AI-assisted features
Where AI features are enabled, do not use them to generate content that is unlawful, harassing, or deceptive; do not present AI output as a title opinion, survey, or professional determination; and do not attempt to extract the underlying model's instructions or to induce it to return data outside your scope.
Reporting and enforcement
Report suspected violations, security issues, or vulnerabilities to hunterbsell@orn-net.com. Orion investigates in good faith and will not pursue action against good-faith security research reported responsibly and without data exfiltration.
Orion may suspend or terminate access for violations, and will notify your organization's administrator. Serious violations may be reported to your organization or to law enforcement.
